Here is a list of the kits with components included in the kits and components you must provide. (Unless indicated, all components must be assembled to complete the SuperProbe2.)

All of the kits utilize our new PCBs with improved component layout, thru-hole off-board connections and more integrated components and connections.
  1. MK0:
      2. We supply: The probe & amplifier PCBs only

      You provide: SMD/TH parts/POTS/switches/lamp/knobs/wire/battery/speaker/amp case/LEDs/probe case/probe wire/probe tip/probe connectors

  2. MK1/MK1ASM:
      3. We supply: PCBs/SMD/TH parts/gain & vol POTs/lamp

      You provide: pwr switches/knobs/wire/battery/speaker/amp case/pwr LED/probe case/probe wire/probe tip/probe connectors

  3. MK2/MK2ASM:
      4. We supply: PCBs/SMD/TH parts/gain & vol POTs/lamp/pwr switches/knobs/wire/pwr LED/probe coax wire/probe connectors

      You provide: /battery/speaker/amp case/probe case

  4. MK3/MK3ASM:
      5. We supply: PCBs/SMD/TH parts/gain & vol POTs/lamp/pwr switches/knobs/wire/pwr LED/probe wire/probe connectors/SS probe case & support parts/probe tip

      You provide: /battery/speaker/amp case

  5. BatPack:
      6. We supply:800mAh Li-Ion rechargable battery, USB 4056 charger module and mounting hardware, USB cable, male battery connector cable. Use this kit with any project to provide 3.7V rechargable power.

      You provide: Everything else. (NOTE: BatPack Kit is included in Case Kit.)

  6. CaseKit:
      7. We supply:Machined ABS case, 2W 4ohm speaker mounted to panel, 800mAh Li-Ion rechargable battery, USB 4056 charger module and mounting hardware, USB cable, male battery connector cable. Use this kit with MK0, MK1, MK1ASM, MK2, MK2ASM, or the MK3 kit.

      You provide: Everything else to provide a working probe or combine with our other kits as noted above.

MCSP Column Visits: 2064
